Well i tested the effects of coca cola on plants compared to water and found that the plat watered with coca cola grew a lot less than the plant with water. my hypothesis is that the results i got were because of the caffeine/sugar ratio in the coke as compared to water

The water content of coca cola will help plants grow. Some plants will be able to benefit from the other components such as phosphoric acid, which can be a fertilizer; but coca cola is unlikely to produce better effects than plain water.

In fact, most plants will react badly to the high acidity of Coca-Cola (it is a pretty strong acid).

The sugar in coca cola will also attract ants and other pests, which might actively hinder growth.

Yes, coke does kill plants because the ingredients in coke rot the plant killing it.

In small amounts the sugars can be absorbed to create some sweetening effects but all and all stick to your natural organic fertilizers
