No. It started in CA in 1954 when Ray Kroc bought a small barbecue place and turned into the first fast food place that only sold Hamburgers, fries, 3 kinds of milk shakes, and soft drinks. Their prices were low and they stated they were fast with an order. Before McDonald's you could only get a hamburger in places like Bob's Big Boy which was sit down only. When they began they didn't even have tables or chairs to sit down and eat. You were suppose to order your hamburger and leave.
