If you have any acid problems alcohol will increase these the next day. i actually drank a bottle of wine yesterday and today i have this pain in my lower abdominal which is why i stumbled upon this. i get stomach aches from alcohol but this is pretty much the first time i have abdominal pain. so sorry not much of an answer.

The stomach contains acids which will cause a burning sensation when refluxed into the oesophagus. We call this heartburn. Wine also contains acids and therefore will exacerbate the heartburn.

For me there is a internal candida (yeast) infection. If you also have problems with vinegar, you should look into pro-biotics -- they help me.
