The novel Code Orange is about a teen boy named Mitty Blake who lives in New York. Mitty is a carefree kid, who doesn't worry about things like school, and other news. He has to do a Advanced Bio report, but procrastinates and is left feeling the pressure. He ends up finding some old medical books in his family's house, which contained 2 old scabs in an envelope. Little did he know that doing this would send him on a journey that could spell his demise.
