Last night I met up with my old buddies from high school while we were all home for Memorial Day weekend at CB & Potts. I know I can always count on CB & Potts to deliver a great time. It is the perfect place to meet up with a lot of friends and you know you are going to be doing a lot of eating, drinking and talking. It has a real sports bar and brewery feel.First my friends and I enjoyed so bear, appetizers and great food. I had their Maibock spring bear. It was the perfect balance of malty and hoppy. It was the perfect drink to start the night off with.Their buttface amber ale cheese dip is soo good!! It is made for cheese lovers - it combines cheddar and pepper-jack cheese with a taste of onion, garlics and cilantro. It came with bread and chips to gobble it up with. And it is not a trip to CB's without having some wings. We enjoyed some thai bbq and buffalo chicken wings. They hit the spot! One of my favorite thing about eating here is that they have one of the largest burger menus around. All their burgers are fire roasted and so tasty. I had a hard time choosing last night between the hillbilly and the bourban black jack. Eventually, the hillbilly won out last night (in part because of its name and in part because of its taste). I mean, how can a burger that has onions, bacon and blue cheese mayo go wrong? That's right, it can't because it is a real hillbilly. After we ate dinner we ended up hanging out at the bar for the rest of the night. It really is the perfect place to meet up with old friends. We were able to enjoy a nice dinner and then move to the bar area and enjoy a fun night out with old friends without having to drive anywhere different.
