Rumor has it things are about to get pretty messy when Devious Maids returns for its third season. What can you tease about what drama we can anticipate this season?

Friendships will be tried. There will be multiple murders! Sexy and passionate love! Our bosses are filthier than ever this season and the maids are cleaning house! Rosie's love triangle with play with your heart strings all season long!

Season 2 literally went out with a bang after a shooting occurs after you and Mr. Spence tie the knot. So...who got shot?!

Pablo (Zoila's ex-husband and father of her unborn baby) dies and Rosie got injured. I have been in a coma for 4 months and a lot has changed and happened during that time with Marisol (who now has a new career path) and Carmen, who will find herself in a compromising scenario.

What's coming next for Rosie in season 3?

In the first two episodes, she finds herself gaining her strength back and adjusting to married life with Meester Spence (as she calls him). However, we saw her mourn the death of her first husband (Ernesto) all of season one and before she walked down the aisle to marry Spence, a scene showed him to be alive in Mexico. Ernesto will be making his way to America soon into Season 3 and then we dive into Rosie's moral dilemma. Who does she love? Ernesto was her first love, the father of her child and he has come to find her. But Spence is her current husband and love now. She is a woman of God and the validity of her marriage will be questioned and you will get to see a very human side to her.

Rosie gets to be really sexy but sweet this season again! She finally gets thrown into the big mystery and gets to play a very comical maid/detective at times but soon finds out things might not be at all what they seem. Spence and Rosie will be trying to figure out how to completely find love and happiness in this Beverly Hills mayhem.

What about Rosie's character do you identify with most?

How passionate she is. Always committed to love and family but not without judging others and herself for the inevitable human behavior we fall into. She is very funny without trying because of how lost in translation she can be at times due to the English language. I was very much like that when I arrived in the US! Still am at times.

Is there anything you did to make Rosie's character your own that wasn't originally scripted?

Rosie's quirks are an exaggerated version of myself and my mother. LOL. Her nonverbal funny looks, her walk and little dips when she stops and her voice! I take credit for that. I am lucky that they write a great canvas for me to play around in though. The writers are brilliant! The story lines are all their doing. But, she is Mexican so I take the time to do my research on Mexican slangs that I can adlib to make Rosie authentic. As an artist, it's my job to make her unique with all my original nuances. Great art is always a collaborative process!

Those of us who are hooked on Devious Maids know that every episode is filled with shock and awe. Is it possible to raise the bar?

Of course! In life, I always have "what else can happen now?!" moments and so can a show like ours. Especially considering that it is heightened reality. We have so many great character actors that we can place in almost any grand situation and they can play the "ooohs" and "ahhhs" in them. Love/Murder/Sex/Lies/God are always a good base for chaos!

According to a promo video from the new season, a murder will go down in season 3 of Devious Maids that will shake Beverly Hills to its core. Do you know who gets murdered?

Oh you find out who gets murdered fast! Then someone else gets murdered and so on and so forth! This season we keep you at the edge of your seat! The mystery is "Who is committing the murders?!" But not to worry, Rosie and the girls are on the case!

What is like being on set amongst so many powerful and spicy Latinas?

Amazing! I come from a family full of women so for me, I thrive in it! I also played a team sport so I love the challenge and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from other powerful women.

You had to start filming for season 2 just 2.5 weeks after giving birth to twins! First of all, that must have been incredibly tough...I can't imagine! How do you find time to juggle a successful career and motherhood?

Motherhood is the reason for my existence at this point! I juggle it because it is a necessity. The love, understanding and support I get from my family makes the work days seem like a blessing! I am lucky to be able to do what I love and come home to all the loves of my life. It's motivating!

How in the world did you bounce back into such phenomenal post-baby shape so quickly? Please tell us your secrets!

Lack of sleep and running around after twins was a good start! But Hot Pilates changed my body! I swear by it now! I love to work out in general and stay active even in my everyday life. I implement being active into my daily routine, walking everywhere I can and drinking tons of water.
