Yes, I always knew I wanted to be an actress. I started begging my Mom when I was like five or six. She never really listened to me, thankfully. I went about it on my own when I was about 14.

In the original Scream movies, the killer used an everyday telephone as a tool of murder and manipulation. In 2015, that needs to be updated. Now we use webcams, social media, text messages, etc. constantly. Our new killer has much more complicated and extensive cyber tool box. Social media, I think, is a double-edged sword. Our viewers can expect all of their favorite apps to be used against the new Scream characters.
Absolutely. I got so excited when I got the audition, but I didn't want to get too bogged down with trying to imitate any specific character from the original ones, so that hopefully I could create something new.
I think people will respond to the social media aspect of our killer, and also the classic self-referential tone of Scream. You get a new take on the tropes of the Horror genre.
Hopefully fans of the original will enjoy our adaptation. The story is definitely new, more intricate, dark, and updated for the current TVscape we have now.
Brooke is an evolving character, so I think that's what I love about playing her. From episode to episode-- huge things happen to her, and it's finding how her personality will adjust, or not adjust, to her circumstances that I find interesting. It's a constant balance of figuring out where her loyalties lie.
Brooke's father is the mayor, Quinn Maddox. I think there's a lot underneath the surface of her family, and underneath the surface of our town-- Lakewood.
Puppies and Kittens. (Disclaimer: sadly, neither of those things have made an appearance on Scream yet)
I think at the end of the day, there's a lot of blood in both of them. That's just the nature of the two shows. I have spent a lot more time filming Scream, though, so I've gotten to actually navigate a character throughout multiple episodes and all that entails, whereas True Blood was a super quick thing.
I like to watch scary movies, but I prefer my cat and my boyfriend also be there for moral support.

His early life was marked by hardship, as his father suffered from tuberculosis, and his mother died of tuberculosis when he was young.
