In the second book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Draco Malfoy is disappointed that Hermione wasn't killed by the Basilisk. However, as he grew older Draco changed a lot. Given that he didn't like Hermione, he probably wouldn't have been very upset.

When Madam Pomfrey was shrinking them she let her carry on for a little longer.*Hermione was born on the 19th September 1979 which meant she turned fifteen just after starting her fourth year unlike Harry Potter and Ron Weasley who were still fourteen.
