Will there be a sequel to the 2010 sorcerer's apprentice?

The stage was set for a sequel when Dave picked up his hat and hung it on the lamp post. If you watch past the credits, there's a scene where what looks like Horvath picks up his hat and puts it on.

However, the possibility of a sequel for a movie usually depends on how it does in theaters, not on what cliffhangers it leaves. Film makers are more interested in potential profit then how the story is left. The Sorcerer's Apprentice did poorly in theaters, yet i've hear the video sales were moderately well once it hit dvd and BluRay.

In the end, it's the sole discretion of the Disney company whether or not we will be seeing a SA2 in theaters anytime soon if ever however because of the poor ticket sales in theaters, I doubt there will be a sequel.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice, first of all, was a Disney movie and I think there will be a second movie. At the end of the film, there was a short (15 seconds, maybe) clip of a shadow puttind on a bowler cap. I think this is leaving the movie on a hook for a second movie.

Yeah, there's most likely going to be a sequel. At the end I think after the credits or making of the sorcerers apprentice, it shows horvath with his cane, he picks up his hat and leaves. Those things usually say there will be a sequel.

Highly unlikely. The movie was made a long time ago and there has never been a second, or any word of a second either. I too, wish they would, though.

I am sorry to say that there is not going to be a Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie 2.
