yes... sakura becomes medical ninja, she is good at fighting...but definitely no match for sasuke lets put it in this way lets say they were in the same place that sasuke killed itachi. he could do they same techniques that he did. sakura yes shes powerful but all she would be able to do by then is defend and her defending abilities arent top notch. Sakura and Itachi never actually meet. There was a time when Sakura did see how Itachi looked like because the akatski sent a replacement to go and fight/stall Naruto's team so the akatski could have more time getting the jinchurican(tailed beast) out of Gaara.
