Technology makes it possible for people regardless of age to communicate and purchase more than any previous generation. Through Facebook or other internet communication, they can see and hear everyone they've added as a 'friend' or reach them at any time. Additionally, parents tend to give their children credit cards, debit cards or other forms of cash. In a capitalistic society, "S/he who holds the money has the power." If you want something done, no matter what your age is, giving them money to do it is the greatest influence.
