The Hunger Games are held by the Capitol as a reminder to the districts of their rebellion and how badly it ended for them. Because of the rebellion, they are forced to kill 23 children every year.
The "Hunger Games" is not something that actually exsists. It is a story about twenty four kids, ages 12-18, from twelve disterects, one boy and one girl, who are picked out of a bowl to fight in the Hunger games. The hunger games is where the twenty four kids fight to the death, and there families are watching every drop of blood that escapes from them, to show that there district is more powerful than them and to remind them of the days of war. There is a place in the beginning, called the barracuda, where all the tributes start out. In there there are supplies and backpacks and weapon's. when the bell rings they are free to fight and go where they want. they can kill eat run do whatever they want. twelve people were killed in the beginning. You should go see it in theater's. i wont tell you anymore to spoil it.
