Unfortunately, the USA movie theater industry is too greedy to do away with the R rating or change the minimum age for buying a ticket from 13 to 17. Most cinemas make most of their money from the snack bar, but, if they can get two adult tickets, instead of one, from an R rated movie they will. They want to make as much money as they can, even if it means that the cinemas are being run by hypocrites since 1968, the first year of the r rating. The American movie theaters are one of the few places in the country run by two face double standard people. Most American businesses treat all people equally.

The movie "Brigade Call-Girls" was released in 1977. The film is an action adult crime French film with a premise silly enough for it to get overall negative ratings.
Depending if you're wanting a child, senior or adult ticket, 3D or non-3D, matinee or night showing, prices vary from $6.25 to $11.25
It is an exceptionally good movie. I suggest though that you buy it when prices are low, as it isn't worth the big prices.
They usually check how the book is. Is it good enough, or real enough to make into the movie. The book wasn't really popular till the movie came out if you noticed. It was an adult book as Stephanie has said, when the book became a childern or teenage movie that's how the book's became popular they were planning to just make the first movie only, then that's how the Twilight Saga began.. as well as Harry Potter.
they better lower their snack prices

A ticket for the UGC complex in Les Halles is 10.90€ (adult, regular price). There are a number of reduced prices (under-18, students, groups, morning sessions) at around 6.50€.
If you wish to see a movie that requires minors to be accompanied by an adult, then any adult qualifies. But it may not be a good idea to ask random strangers on the street to take you to a movie.
