People from all occupations tend to choose their friends and dates from people in their own field of work. Also, actors have special problems because they are in the public eye. Some people might want to exploit them, or the person might be a stalker, etc. It Is true that Hollywood romances might be just hype - two beautiful people being seen together, so that Both get the publicity. However, it is Also true that the only place where actors can relax and be "just plain people" is with their peers. I once knew a very famous man who told me, "Fame only works from the outside in." The actor is the same person he/she always was, but Other people make him/her an impossible Fantasy object. Nobody can live up to another person's fantasy. A wise person doesn't even try. Many actors marry people who are outside the Business; especially as they get older, and want to settle down with a family. One question: What would be the "right reason" for a person to want to date someone he/she has never met, and doesn't know?
