I suppose the real tragedy occurred when it became clear that Yolanda had no way out of the situation of the missing financial records and the ensuing argument with Selena. This was when Yolanda pulled out a gun and fired one shot at Selena as she was attempting to get out the door, which ultimately led to Selena's death.
Sadly, Selena died before doctors could help her at the local hospital. Selena basically bled to death, with a severed artery.
Selena could've survived if she had been attended to at the hospital much earlier before all that blood went out.
