Bilbo doesn't care about his "side", Actually. The whole book is about someone who is small and how a little person can change the things. It would be a paradoxe if he cares about it. But it is like he really like to be a little person and he knows that he can do different anyway.

Summarize Bilbos rescue of the dwarves?

Bilbo stays invisible for weeks listening to conversations of the Wood-Elves. The king's first man<-? and a guard test some wine in the basement of the Wood-Elf compound. They fall asleep and Bilbo steals the guard's keys. Bilbo unlocks the cells of the dwarves and he puts them in empty tubs that the Wood-Elves were about to throw out through their river disposal system, (I can't quite remember what it was called), and the elves who throw out the tubs threw out the dwarves without even looking in them. Bilbo had one problem though, he wasn't in a tub, so he had to grab on to a barrel and float into the lake where the dwarves and Bilbo are accepted and fed and housed.

What happened to the dwarf kingdom in The Hobbit?

While in the goblin tunnels, Dori was carrying Bilbo on his back since the hobbit was too small to keep up on his own. As they ran, a group of goblins quietly followed the company of dwarves and, sneaking up from behind, a goblin grabbed Dori by the foot, tripping him and causing him to drop poor Bilbo. The hobbit bumped his head on a rock and blacked out. A fight broke out between the goblins and dwarves, and then Gandalf shouted, "Follow me everybody!" and the dwarves all ran father into the tunnel with the wizard. Bilbo, being unconscious, was unable to follow and was left behind. Later, Gandalf was quite upset with Dori for not picking Bilbo up again, but Dori said in defense, "You shouted 'follow me everybody!' and everybody ought to have followed. We thought everybody had." Meanwhile, Bilbo went on in the tunnel once he gained consciousness, and proceeded to find the Ring and meet Gollum.

What is the last paragraph of Lord of the Rings?

I'm assuming you are referring to the books. Therefore, the last paragraph in the Lord of the Rings trilogy is in Return of the King, the last book. It reads as follows:"At last they rode over the downs and took the East Road, and then Merry and Pippin rode on to Buckland and already they were singing again as they went. But Sam turned to Bywater, and so came back up the Hill, as day was ending once more. And he went on, and there was yellow light, and fire within; and the evening meal was ready, and he was expected. And Rose drew him in, and set him in his chair, and put little Elanor upon his lap. He drew a deep breath. 'Well, I'm back,' he said.

Why has Gandalf decided on the use of a burglar in the plan?

Answers like this are always difficult to give when you consider what we know about Gandalf not only from the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, but also from the Silmarillion. While it is doubtful that Gandalf would have known where choosing Bilbo would lead not only the group, but the entire world, it can be argued that he may have suspected that important things were destined for that little Hobbit. Gandalf had powers that we cannot completely understand so, while it may seem random that he chose Bilbo for the trip, he may have had his reasons all along.

In the book 'The Hobbit' when is Bilbo Baggins first referred to as a burglar?

I believe that Bilbo was first referred to as a burglar in chapter one of The Hobbit, when Bilbo has just shrieked in fright at the things that the dwarves were saying. While Bilbo was recovering from shock in the drawing room, Gloin states, "As soon as I clapped eyes on the little fellow bobbing and puffing on the mat, I had my doubts. He looks more like a grocer than a burglar!"

Why is Bilbo happy?

In Lord of the Rings, Bilbo was happy to have the burden of The Ring taken off of him (even though he was begrudging at first), and happy to be able to have a "happily ever after" ending for himself. He moved to Rivendell, to live with the elves, and was quite content there for the time being.

Was Bilbo Baggins accepted back into The Hobbit community at the end of The Hobbit?

Bilbo changes a lot after his adventure, and is also considerably more well off because of the two chests of silver and gold he brings back. At the beginning of The Fellowship of the Ring, it is mentioned that Bilbo is now seen as un-hobbit-like, and Frodo is also seen as odd. However, the hobbit community is not one that would particularly ostracise any of its members, and as Bilbo is still quite rich, it doesn't seem to be a problem for him. Many hobbits still choose to attend his birthday party, so perhaps he is just seen as the local eccentric. I can add. Bilbo was accepted back but after his adventure with Gandalf he was never the same. Neither were the people's attitudes towards him. They respected him but from that day on saw him as a strange fellow and I believe attanded his parties only because he was a well known Hobbit (and of course ALL hobbits like to eat)!

What event causes change in Bilbo?

Bilbo's personality changed quite a lot. He was, in the beginning a coward, who would rather stay inside and have company than go out on an adventure (as were all hobbits). Over the course of the quest, he became a brave warrior, willing to fight for his friends. he also became a bit crooked near the end of the hobbit, due to the power of the Ring.
