Monday Couple was created fromKang Gary'sone-sided crush (beginning from ep. 8, if my memory is correct). He confessed to her that he loved her during the game 1 vs 9 on ep 15. Song Ji Hyo went along with Kang Gary's love lines until the news about her relationship with her CEO Baek Chang Ju came into light in Feb 2012. After the incident, I think Song Ji Hyo feft awkward to continue a relationship with Kang Gary on screen. Both of them became distant, and Monday Couple ended.
In Nov 2012, Song Ji Hyo revealed that she had a good relationship (as friends and colleagues) with Kang Gary on the talk show Strong Heart. She also appeared on stage with Gary in Leessang's concert.Recently on Running Man, Kang Gary and Song Ji Hyo have been seen together; and they often joked around. You can watch ep. 120 -> [present]. So, it seems to me like Monday Couple is back.
