Okay this may be confusing to you so here, In the future Rini wanted to hold the Silver Crystal so she went to it and took it, but she made a mistake and it went into her heart/body and didn't remember anything. So when the NegaMoon attacked Crystal Tokyo (future Tokyo) her mother (Future Serena) couldn't fight, and Rini couldn't remember what happened with the crystal, her mother sent her (because King Edymion (Future Darien) was wounded from war) to the past to get the crystal from 16 yr old Serena/Sailor Moon. And that is how Rini ended up in the past with Serena and The Scouts...... But she eventually got the help from Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts to save her mother in future (and they eventually found out that Serena and Darien were her parents) and was able to return the future.....Does that answer your question??
Is Rini Serena's daughter?
Yes. This is revealed for the first time in episode 83 of the original Japanese anime (episode 76 of the English dub) and in the manga in Act 20 "Crystal Tokyo, King Endymion." In the anime, it is King Endymion who explains it directly to Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask while Rini is sleeping, but in the manga, Rini actually introduces herself as the daughter of "Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion" but Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask don't quite understand until King Endymion clarifies that Neo-Queen Serenity is a future form of Sailor Moon herself--and therefore that Rini is Serena's own future daughter!
