Ponyboy wishes had had company on the way home from the movie house because of Socs. They jumped him on the way home, and he had no help.
The house in Phenomenon is the Macchi family dairy home in Bodega, Sonoma County California. It was spotted by the studio location person on a drive through the area. The old family home was not occupied because it had become run down. The studio remodeled the house for the movie set. Great movie!
white plains ny

The train and its whistle appear in the movie every time there is approaching danger. You'll hear it in the park before Bob's death, in the vacant lot when Ponyboy determines he's late getting home and will have to face Darry, and so many other times throughout the movie. Since S. E. Hinton wrote about "the greasers who live on the wrong side of the tracks," the train has played an important role in the novel and the movie. The train gives Ponyboy and Johnny a way out of the city when they run away to Windrixville, as well as the soundtrack for danger.
Sounds like 'Demon Seed', in this movie an advanced supercomputer hijacks a home automation system in order to keep the human occupant prisoner.
a ride home
"When I stepped out in into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I had only two things on my mind: Paul Newman, and a ride home."
The first part is when Ponyboy Curtis steps out from the darkness of the movie house, thinking about a ride home. As he is walking home, some Socs jumped him. Right after, Darry rescuses him and Dallas invites him and jonny to the movie.
The House Construction Home Movie - 1971 was released on: USA: 1971
A few similarities between the movie and book are that the movie still has the complete Greaser gang (Ponyboy, Johnny, Sodapop, Darry, Dally, Two-Bit, and Steve) and also Johnny and Dally still die in the movie but the movie begins with Johnny and Pony following Dally around town.when johnny kills bob and the rumble Now a few differences are that they dont have the court scene, Darry doesn't slap Pony he pushes him down; Pony isn't sick after Johnny and Dally die; the movie doesn't mention Mickey Mouse, (Soda's horse); Sodapop and Dally aren't blonds like they are in the book, instead they are brunettes; the church that Ponyboy and Johnny run away to isn't on a hill; when the church catches on fire pony and johnny doesn't save the kids in a hall way; randy doesn't visit Ponyboy after the rumble the book is a lot better than the movie because there is no detail left out and in the movie there's a lot . I have like 37 differences 1 is that the movie never mentions sodapops girl friend. They don't do acrobatic stuff off the porch. Ponyboy didn't fall asleep on Johnny's lap while riding the train. In the book Soda gives Ponyboy money (a check) Well in the book he didn't. Johnny never made a joke about Jerry about how fat he was. They mention that Marcia was from the south side instead of west side. At the beggining of the movie they never chased after those kids and picked on them in the book. Also the book was written in ponyboy's perspective and the movie was not the movie was written in everyone's perspective.
He is mad because ponyboy came home at 2 am. when he is to be home at 12 am. He expresses hos angry by slapping him. Then ponyboy left and tryed to ran away from home with johnny. He decided not to and went home.
darry at home
a stanger
When Ponyboy comes home late from sleeping in the lot after the movie with Johnny Darry hits Ponyboy in the face. Then Ponyboy runs away. Also, they always fight about how Ponyboy doesn't use his head. One time Sodapop gets affected by their fighting and runs away!
Ponyboy gets jumped by the Socs and they threaten to kill him.
The soc that stopped by to visit Ponyboy while he was recovering at home was Randy Adderson.
