there are many rumors as to why keith lemon wears a bandage. two are:

people say it is to cover up a rude tattoo that itv don't want shown

people say it's because he was injured by a kangaroo in australia

There are a few stories about the reason for the bandage, but the most reasonable explanation is that it is a character prop. Here are some other explanations:

• In an interview he told the reporter it's a re-occurring injury which started when his charity "Lemon Aid" (GET IT) started up which allowed him to take 'divvys' as he describes them, White Water Rafting. One of the kids fell overboard and obviously couldn't swim back so he dragged him back in by his mouth because he had no feeling in his mouth and was the only place he could touch him without hurting him, he had no concern for his own danger but even though the kid had no feeling in his mouth he had injured 'Keith's hand.

• According to an interview in OK Magazine, Keith stated that he wears a bandage due to an injury at a Kangaroo sanctuary..." When I went to Australia I went to an animal sanctuary where they had kangaroos. The kangaroo wrangler said they're so placid that you can touch their tackle (private parts). Well I touched its tallywacker and it set about me. I expect that's why they're depicted wearing boxing gloves in Children's Books. "
