Rubeus Hagrid hit Dudley Dursley with a spell that gave him a pigs tail. Hagrid intended to turn him into a pig but as he was expelled at thirteen and his wand is in pieces, magic wasn't his strong point.
Dudley had to be taken to a private hospital to have the tail removed before he began his education at boarding school.
