if you mean "a still life" then your answer most likely resides inside of you, not here. you should do some soul searching and "be still" in a sense that you should wait patiently for god to answer that question for you.

It's their own personal preference. Some choose to paint still life because it captures the realism of things - for example, cartoon drawings do not capture the full detail of things, in most cases. It also can be used as a form of communication - for example, centuries ago, still life paintings were used to communicate herbal remedies.

still life artwork is when an artist (or yourself) paints/draws a picture/painting of objects that don't move or aren't alive ex. drawing wooden blocks is still life artwork.
