She plain and boring compared to them. But she's fine!
Well as you can see on TV alot of Americans make fun of British people saying we have a accent like " pip pip cherry'o " but we don't! We talk perfectly fine so i don't see why we need to be made fun of, its not right. They think its funny but its not!! Alot of kids watching American shows wont find it very amusing and will probably not like Americans. Q .So the question is Why do Americans make fun of British people? A. Because they think its funny, BUT ITS NOT!!

Yes, as there are people everywhere that immitate countrys accents and make fun of them. Answer The British have a long history of poking fun at almost everything. For an allegedly pompous race they have a remarkable sense of humour, much funnier than American slapstick. The British, unlike Americans, are happy to laugh at themselves, and the British will poke fun at Americans as happily as they poke fun at themselves. Of course, Americans give British comedians a lot to work with.
Because it's fun to do. And convincing if you do it right.
Yes, it was a negative term deemed at the soldiers the British served with in the French and Indian War.
Unlikely. The accents of both the British and the Americans in the early years of America's colonisation were both strongly rhotic, meaning there was an emphasis on the pronunciation of the 'r' wherever it occurred after a vowel, e.g. the word teacher. It was not until later that the British accent, aside from the Scottish and Irish, began to depart from the rhotic, so there was initially little difference between the British and American accents.
because of his southern accent and raggedy clothing
There is no right answer for this. But, if you look at public figures and see which one is the most famous person with an accent. Then you are on the right track. ie, = Arnold Schwarzenegger = comes to mind. Learn more about accents @ www.relaxandspeak.com
