The band originally split up in 2005 after drummer Mizuho decided to quit. For some reason, the other 3 decided not to continue without her. However, in 2011, the band reformed without Mizuho and performed a number of concerts. By 2013, the group was a dou consisting of bassist Maiko & guitarist Miyu. In February 2013, Miyu's contract was terminated and in March 2013, Maiko announced the official end of Zone.
