"He was a really good boyfriend, very romantic and, yes, shy. He was good looking and obviously I found him very attractive. We were together for just under a year. Now we don't even talk any more. I haven't ever met any of the other One Direction boys. I don't really know why fans follow me. I do have a lot of fans getting in touch but I just expect it. I get a lot of girls calling me up asking about Harry. Some fans even pretend to be me, which I think is a bit strange. And mum and I had a stalker for a while. Creepy.

"A friend of mine called Liv introduced us. She lived where Harry comes from. It was a long-distance relationship but it was a lot of fun. We just clicked straight away and got on really well. He has a really cute smile. We started seeing each other when we were both about 15. He was really sweet. It was puppy love and we were definitely each other's first loves.

"There was no real reason why we split up. We just drifted apart. I don't think the distance helped and we were really young. It was sad when we first broke up but I'm happy now. I think my new boyfriend is better looking than Harry anyway. When Harry became famous I thought it was weird because I knew him before all this happened and we had been boyfriend and girlfriend. But I don't really think about it any more. I think it's funny when I hear Harry on the radio and especially when a One Direction song comes on. I'm used to it now and I'm really proud of him. Still, I couldn't care less about the X Factor and, if I'm honest, One Direction's music is not really my cup of tea. Their songs are catchy, though.

"People always say I was lucky to have gone out with him but I think he was the lucky one. We stayed in touch right up until a week before judges' houses. Then we didn't speak again. I don't really know why we don't talk now. I haven't spoken to him for a long time. I miss talking to him. I'd like to think we might get back in contact one day. Everyone thinks what he's done is great. It's what he always wanted so I couldn't be happier for him. He was always singing to me when we were together. My nan even asked me if she could frame a pic of me and Harry so she could tell her friends I knew him."
