Why did WipeOut on ABC get canceled?

Wipeout was never cancelled, but it only had one season. Whether or not it will be on next Summer is unknown.

Actually the show might be canceled but it might not, because, sadly, someone died on the show. but it was not due to the equipment, it was a heart failure
