It depends who you ask as to the reason Ibby left the group again. His version is that he is getting too old to travel so much. He hates the airports and TSA making him strip down because of the titanium in his shoulder. He hated not being able to play newer music while Jeff Hanna was determined to control the songs in the set and stuck with the traditional tunes they are known for.
