Who would win in a battle Athena or Ares?

In my personal opinion Poseiden would win I am pretty bias but according to greek mythology Athena the two olimpians competed for protector and ruler of the city Athens Posedion slammed his mighty golden trident into a vast of rocks creating a salt water spring and Athena stuck her spear of birth into a huge boulder and it grew into an olive tree and the people of Athens chose Athena because the olive tree could create oil and sweet perfume as for the beautiful salt water spring could flood and ruin crops so in all reality Athena would win it is also said that you can go to Athens and see the very olive tree and see the outline if the trident of Poseidon

Really it just matters where they are! You have to remember that Ares was defeated by Percy because Percy was in the water so he had the entire ocean at his comand! Also a God can't fight a hero unless they attack first!

I personally would choose Athena because she is the more favorable one.

She is the goddess of wisedom, Arts and Crafts(weaving, looming, etc) and she is also the strategy side of war. Not much bloodshed(unlike Ares), more brain power.

Hera is the goddess of marriage and the queen of gods/goddesses. She is the more jealousing and wrathful one. Athena would think over something before doing something. (Hence, the goddess of wisedom)
