Who would win apocalypse or hulk?

Doomsday.

Doomsday has adaptive countermeasures, speed that rivals Superman and other speedsters (i.e. Flash) and strength that dwarfs planet busters that outclass the Hulk.

The biggest advantage Doomsday has is it's ability to develop powers, which are reactive to any threat opposed to it. I.e. developing flame breath against Martian Manhunter, energy canceling against Radiant and poisonous claws against Superman. This is coupled by it's ability to regenerate from and adapt to anything that might have killed it.

Doomsday would likely blitz Hulk, overwhelm him and adapt deadly abilities to counter Hulk's gamma based power.

DC's flagship character, Superman is far superior to Marvel's Hulk in terms of physicality and powers. Hulk's strength feats pales compared to what Superman has done. The point of comparing Superman to Hulk is simply that Doomsday is a Superman villain that is at first look is very similar to Hulk however, is much more powerful which is why it's not mere a>b=a>c logic.

Doomsday is well beyond Hulk in terms of everything other than healing on which they are on par. He's stronger, faster, more durable, can adapt and counter. And most importantly is essentially immortal via resurrection with the added benefit of becoming resistant to what killed him.

To nip a few things at the bud... Anger is a finite emotion. Hulk can call upon greater reserves but it's one of those willpower deus ex powers. It's not just anger that fuels him. I'd say it's passion and wonky comic book logic. So realistically, no Hulk can not become infinitely strong (not without a plot device). Nor is he leaping around at World Breaker levels either. He has a calm state which is around Ben Grimm level. Doomsday is in 5th gear all the time. It's a slaughter from the first bell.

Hulk's power is also gamma based and shouldn't have any sort of defense to what Doomsday could bypass. In Hunter Prey, Doomsday leapt through the energy blast that once killed him before and the Radiant, the one who killed him with it. He also produced poisonous barbs that pierced right through Superman's skin, which is a lot more durable than Hulk's. There isn't any reason Doomsday couldn't adapt on the fly something to neutralize Hulk's Biology in some way to it's advantage.

Not that it should even come to that. A speed blitz with furious, unrelenting, superior strikes should turn Hulk to mush.

Most of DC's better know characters are much stronger than Marvel's. It's just how it is. There's a "tier" list and Doomsday is a couple notches above Hulk.

That's the logical answer.

The diplomatic and realistic answer; Hulk is more popular. If it were written as a mini-series or a one shot crossover, Hulk would have either a plot device to help him compete or just be written to be on par with Doomsday, like DC vs Marvel's Superboy and Spider-Man fight. Spider-man won that fight. Not because it has anything to do with their powers but their popularity. Either way it ends with Hulk BFRing Doomsday to some dimension or other eventually ineffective prison and/or getting help from Superman.

In the end it's up to the writers and it doesn't matter.

This would be a good fight but red hulk actually puts up a challenge to regular hulk and since the hulk beat the fantastic four and doctor doom could not i would say that red hulk wins. Although red hulk dosent get madder and stronger so if he calms down he could be killed and Ross.

Doomsday would win. Yes The Hulk is a strong being however no matter what he would do to Doomsday it would do nothing to him permanently since Doomsday is a creature that adapts to whatever had previously happened to him and because of his adaptive powers Doomsday would win in a fight against The Hulk.

Hulk here’s why I believe hulk would win so as we know doomsday and hulk stomp goku but that’s just what I’m saying and doomsday yeah his powers can do a lot to hulk and I think this is close but hold up i didn’t do enough research on doomsday but tell me if he did any of this one. he shattered a whole tectonic plate with one step he destroyed a entire dimension he punched a hole through dimension he broke reality with a clap he even damaged a guy named onslaught and his armor he damaged and it was stated to be near indestructible he destroyed a astroid that was twice the size of earth and the only point I think you Guys have is that he can overpower hulk but all the things he done can do again But on doomsday and to be honest hulk knocked Superman into space once AND HE PUNCHED TIME ITS SELF there’s more about him im gonna List 1 or 2 thing about his base form that he can do HE DID HIS CLAP MOVE AND DESTROYED INFINITE AMOUNT OF UNIVERSES tell me if doomsday done better

I'd have to go with Doomsday, because when Superman fought him the first time, they both died, so it ended in a draw, however Superman has beaten Darkseid quite a few times without dying.
