id say mace windu would because he is a jedi before obi wan but id want obi wan 2 win because i think hes cool. but id like to see Yoda and the apprentice fight.

i dont think so...though windu is a master jedi and well skilled in lightsaber combat, master in form VII vapaad and quite powerful in he way of the force.bu so was obi wan,as anakin stated back in ep.2 "obi wan is a great mentor,he is wise as master Yoda and powerful as master windu".but i doesnt justify the means, all ends with their fate and "the will of the force".Windu is a master of vapaad a very powerful combat form whereas kenobi holds the mastery of the 3rd form soresu...windu with devastating offensive moves against kenobi's formidable defensive style.its tough to say but i would go for kenobi, mindu wll only get frustrated to get through kenobi's defense, frustration against calmness i would say...kenobi will only drive mindu mad until he gets tired and cornered him to his defeat.that is ofcourse with their knowledge of the force, one can only wonder the outcome of this great lightsaber battle.

obi wan wins...

There is absolutely no way that Obi-Wan could stand up to Mace Windu. Obi-Wan got thrashed twice by count Dooku. Mace defeated Palpatine in a one on one fight. There is absolutely no comparison to these two as they are on completely different echelons.

The answer is anakin, because he is the chosen one.and obi wan is just the negotiator.Obi wan tried to negotiate with anakin on the place were he got injured but anakin couldn't be persuaded to come back to the light side and turn away from the dark side.

It really depends on periods each participents were from

  • Obi-wan (ep.III) vs Anakin (ep.III) we already have our answer,
  • Ben (ep.IV) vs Vader (ep.III) was a bit lopsided due to Ben's age and the fact since going into excile had one major fight which was against A'Sharad Hett who Obi-Wan dispatched, and because of this his fighting styles much like his physical abilities were deteriorated in his age during his fight against Vader who was getting the aid of his part robotic limbs boosting his strength and stamina who spent the time killing rogue jedi implying keeping his saber skills sharp, however it is obvious despite the lopsided match up Kenobi was still able to hold off Vader with the aid of the force long (which is suspected he became much more powerful in the force during his time in exile through his time meditation) enough before sacrificing himself for luke and the others to escape and after which he trenscending the natural plain becoming a force spirit
  • Obi-Wan (ep.III) vs Vader (ep.IV) I know this is not posible but lets say for the argument's sake Vader went back in time to kill Kenobi...We already know Vader's side of the story with his cybernetically increased strength however he is going against arguably one of the best Soresu (Form. III) masters of all time which allows him to put up a near impenitrable defense while using little energy giving him time to either tire out Vader or figure out Vader's style and find a weakness, he was also highly expirienced in if not mastered other forms of dueling such as Jar'Kai dual-blade combat or the highly offensive Ataru (Form. IV) which he learned before Soresu during his time as Jinn's apprentice, which with all combined made him arguably one of the best swordsman in history. As for his counter to Vader's cybernetic strength he would have little trouble as shown during the fight on Utapau holding off the cyborg Grevious' vicious attacks in rapid succession with no problem. Over all you could ague Obi-Wans only weakness is to the force.

In the end you could say over all Obi-Wan would win against Vader because of him arguably being a better overall swordsman

Final Scores:

  • Obi-Wan (ep.III) vs Anakin (ep.III):Obi-Wan
  • Ben (ep.IV) vs Vader (ep.IV): Vader
  • Obi-Wan (ep.III) vs Vader (ep.IV): Obi-Wan

Anakin has shown no real evidence that he's a great dueler. He's only killed younglings and a tribe of sand people. He lost to Obi-Wan. And had his clones kill off the rest of the jedi order under order 66. Starkiller has learned to concentrate the force so much that when he releases it in an explosion, it desentegrates adjacent enemies into dust.

I'm a Star Wars geek but in episode III Obi wan beat Anikan (Darth Vader) but in episode IV Anikan beat Obi wan. Obi wan was old and knew he would die so he accepted it. It is hard to tell.

In the interests of a balanced answer: some say Luke; others say Anakin.

The foce is stronger in Luke, but Anakin makes better use of it.
