Naruto is the stronger one. All of Pain's paths, the Deva Path, Animal Path, Preta Path, Human Path, Asura Path, and Naraka path were destroyed by Naruto Uzumaki. He comes face to face with his real body, Nagato. Despite anger towards Nagato, he did not attack, but asked Nagato about his past and how he came to be like this. He decided to tell Naruto about his past, and about what hurt him most, the death of his parents and his friend Yahiko. After the flashback about his past, he asked Naruto for the answer he would say later. He replied with Jiraya's and and Nagato's plans for peace and decided not to kill Nagato. He became very shocked but did not believe in Naruto and Jiraya's peace plan, saying it was a fantasy that could not happen. Naruto said one of the lines from "The Legend of the Gutsy Ninja, Jiraya's first book. He then begs Nagato to believe in him. He says that Naruto reminds him of himself, and that Jiraya had believed in him. He says that he believes in Naruto and preforms Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to revive all people that had been killed during his invasion. He had used all of his chakra, and had weakened himself greatly. Right before he died, he told Naruto to bring peace in the world someday.
