Gary Coleman played Arnold Jackson and Todd Bridges played his brother Willis. Dana Plato played Kimberley Drummond. Gary Coleman (February 8, 1968 - May 28, 2010) was plagued by many personal problems and even sued his parents for stealing his money. He died from a epidural hematoma. Todd Bridges has had many problems, too, but is known for his recurring role as Monk on the series Everybody Hates Chris. Dana Plato (November 1, 1963 - May 8, 1999). She, too, had many personal problems and was trying to remain an actress after the series Diff'rent Strokes ended and even acted in erotica and soft porn. She committed suicide by overdose and almost exactly 11 years later, her son, Tyler Lambert, died from a self-inflicted gunshot. All three actors were so good in their roles that they unfortunately suffered from being typecast.
