Killerhertz were a power trio band from the UK. formed around the late seventies and broke up in 1982.

Killerhetz consisted of Hugo Mallet on guitar and vocals, Marc Rathbone on drums and Doug (Dougie) McArthur on Bass Guitar and vocals.

Most noted for their live performances, killerhertz recorded several singles and EP's numbers such as Heartbreak, Shoot to Kill, All along the road, What you need, and the heavy metal club anthem 5 second wonders. although out of print for many years the odd killerhertz recording will show up on ebay. The bootleg 12" vinyl record, titled Killerhertz live in Wales (recorded by a fan at the now defunct rock club in Neath, Wales 1981) is pretty good quality, and features the band at it's best.
