Supposedly these places are the cross roads:
The most well-known is at Clarksdale MS at Hwy 61 & 49, and is where all the tourists go.
The second is at Old Hwy 8 and Dockery Road. The old dirt hwy is still there a little south of the paved road. It definitely looks like the cross roads. Google map it with satelite and look for yourself.
It's a well Known fact that Ike Zinnerman (real spelling is unknown) taught Robert to play, when he retreated to his Birthplace of Hazlehurst MS. Ike was known in the Beauregard community for playing in the cemetery at night. Robert was in Copiah county for at least a year before returning with his new-found talent. If there is a real "crossroads" it is somewhere in Copiah county around Hazlehurst, not on the delta.
he might be not sure but maybe, he did improve from a hated guitarist to the best in the world within 7 months.

Bands with devil in the name are kind of disrespectful to god because the stupid name devil is gods enemy and god is really good.I can tell by your answer that you take this stuff really seriously, however I don't recall ever being told to not take the devil's name in vain. It doesn't matter though because the closest I could come to a band with the word devil in it's name was Ozark Mountain Daredevil's. Lot's of artist's sing about the devil, and it's usually about a crossroads between good and bad or God and the devil.

According to legend, as a young man living on a plantation in rural Mississippi, Robert Johnson was branded with a burning desire to become a great blues musician. He was "instructed" to take his guitar to a crossroad near Dockery Plantation at midnight. There he was met by a large black man (the Devil) who took the guitar and tuned it. The "Devil" played a few songs and then returned the guitar to Johnson, giving him mastery of the instrument. This was in effect, a deal with the Devil mirroring the legend of Faust. In exchange for his soul, Robert Johnson was able to create the blues for which he became famous. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Johnson#Devil_legend)
