Ellen Foley was the female backing vocalist who sang on the original Bat out of Hell album, but Karla Devito appeard on the video and sang on the tours, in the late 70's and early 80's.

Pearl Aday is Meatloafs daughter and only joined the band in the early 90's to sing on the Bat out of Hell 2 tour of 1994

He's had two female leads that I know of. The major one is Patti Russo. She's been his female voice in a number of songs, as well as live in concert. The other is Lorraine Crosby, and in the video for the song "I would do anything for love", though it's a model lip-syncing, it's Lorraine's voice.
