Television isn't something that was invented only by one person though. The technology developed through the ideas and innovations of several people.

Barbara Spear Webster received a "Thanks" credit on the "Murder She Wrote: A Story to Die For" TV movie in 2000. She was not in the movie but it was dedicated to her memory, it is unclear as to why.
