Elizabeth Peratrovich was and amazing women. She helped to stop the discrimination against the Alaskan Natives in Juneau, Alaska. She and her husband helped to pass the anti-discrimination law.

She died in 1958, on Dec. 1, of cancer. She was married to Roy Peratrovich Sr. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Jeneau.
