About how revolutions frequently fail to change anything. Some of the best known examples are the French Revolution and the Russian Revolution where the new leaders (e.g. Robespierre/Napolean, Lenin/Stalin) proved as power-hungry as the old leaders (e.g. Louis XV, Nicholas II). It doesn't say that revolution is wrong, that sometimes yes we will need to fight in the streets, but it does warn of unexpected results. The bit about "Pick up my guitar and play / Just like yesterday" is about how everyone has something inside them that no amount of political upheval can change.
