Yung Joc (born Jasiel Robinson on April 2, 1983) is an American rapper from College Park, Georgia. Joc has gained popularity from his first single "It's Goin' Down", produced and written by Nitti (not to be confused with pop-rapper Nitty) & So So Def Records, as the "It's Goin' Down" music video states in its title. The lead-off single was a huge success in America. Though critically-smited, the single made its way into America's top 5 and was an extremely heavily-downloaded tune on iTunes, Top metros for Joc searches are Jackson, Mississippi; Columbia, South Carolina; and New Orleans, Louisiana. The second single "I Know You See It" is beginning to climb up the charts mainly because of its video-play. It debuted at number 143, and currently is sitting at 17. Joc is noted as the first artist in two years to have a top forty U.S. hit on Bad Boy Records. In addition to being the latest sensation of Bad Boy South and Block Ent, Yung Joc has become president of Mastermind Music, a record label begun by himself and friend Chino Dollar.
