Okay this is a bit difficult for some people to understand.

Ke$ha sang and recorded the song "Run Devil Run" but never bought it nor released it, the song was leaked out online. Therefore Ke$ha does not own "Run Devil Run".

SNSD heard the song and BOUGHT it LEGALLY! Making SNSD The LEGAL Owners of "Run Devil Run" N O T K E $ H A ! ! ! SNSD translated it, sang it, recorded it and, shot the music video. So SNSD sings "Run Devil Run"
