No, Loudon Wainwright III wrote and sang the song.
"One For My Baby (and One More for the Road)"
I have NO clue what the first song they ever sang was, but I KNOW the last song they ever sang was "The Long and Winding Road". They sang their first song @ Shea Statium, if that helps. Actually, their last song was The End, recorded collectively by all four Beatles. It was composed by Paul McCartney and credited to John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and is in the album Abbey Road. However, I still can't find their first song. There has been rumor that Let It Be was their last album, but it was Abbey Road. My sources: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_End_(The_Beatles_song), and my friend is a beatles nerd! She knows everything about them and watches their movies and reads EVERY book about them! However please tell me if you don't agree with my statement. Hope I helped anyone! Their first songs are "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You"
