A version of A Sniper's Promise was done by The Wolfe Tones. An I.R.A. gunman wrote it from a true experience during the war. The Irish Republican army was famous for its guerrilla tactics such as sniping and assassination.
Yes indeed a version was recorded by The Wolfe Tones, and a poor version at that.My uncle Joe actually wrote the song in 1970 and the original version is difficult to obtain, but it is by far the best version out there.
Well I can tell you the man who wrote this song was named Eamon C. Not sure who Joe is but I met this man when I was 14 living in Cork.
He escaped prison and was sheltered by my mother/family for 10 months.
It sent shivers through me bones when I saw it on YouTube.

The Platters with Paul Roby leading the song. I think he also wrote it.
Coco Lee has sung in several albums, some of her own albums are: Love from now on, Promise me, Brave enough to love, Woman in love and Dance with the wind.
Keith Sweat sang 'Get up on it' in 2004 and Bone Crusher sang it in 2006.
The Temptations sang Get Ready.
She sang live with help from a backing track.
Judith Owen - "I Promise You" :)

Nobody knows yet. But from the last song they sang by MCR, it might be 'Sing'.
Not all Navy Seal missions will have snipers, but at least seven missions will have snipers that they are trained for.
Yes they were the best snipers of all the Allies
as a cue to tell other snipers to fire their weapons
Navy SEAL snipers are fully trained ground soldiers who just specialize in sniping.
The United States Air Force (USAF) doesn't have "snipers." The USAF trains their members in a Countersniper school. They aren't trained in the same tactical employment role as the Army snipers or the Marine MOS snipers.
Kill police snipers. There will be 5 snipers

Possibly. In the American Civil War, both sides had snipers using scoped rifles. If armies did not have snipers in 1912, it was not because sniping was not yet invented.
