Agent 99's name is never revealed in the show. In one episode she used the name Susan Hilton which later 99 mentions that the name is merely an alias. No offical name is ever given. The episode in question has 99 marrying a hotel owner, the alias Suan Hilton obviously has the last name referencing Hilton hotels. In several other episodes there are several alias used for 99 but no 'real' name appears to have been stated.
It is rumored that Agent 99 was originally supposed to be named Agent 69 but NBC censors deemed it to be too "sexually suggestive". According to Barbara Feldon, this is not true. Her character was originally to be named Agent 100 "because she was 100 percent" but Buck Henry decided 99 sounded more feminine.
