no one kill him but he was defeated or lose with hashirama/the 1st hokage in battle,but many people thought madara is dead its true but between 3rd war,there was a ninja obito uchiha was in teamate of kakashi hatake,obito died against rock ninja,then sadly his teamtes return and everyone thought he was died but truly madara uchiha(very old)was alive by a thing that was keeping hime alive and then madara take obito and recure him and train him but obito decided to go back to village but something happen strange and he decided to madara wishes/work and not return to village,also then obito got a mask and madara died later and then obito reveal himself as madara with mask
but later kabuto summon him again with reanimation jutsu/edo-tensei which is already dead.
