Whoever cast this voice artist is either hard of hearing or has no idea what is appropriate for Dreams Beds advertising. This does not make me want to buy or sleep in a Dreams Bed - All I would hear as I drifted off to sleep would be that grating unattractive voice.

Before sacking the voice over artist I'd recommend sacking the production team/director responsible for casting this artist. Any other company considering using this awful voice should think seriously as to how it will damage their product. Chalk on a blackboard springs to mind !

I also agree. She has a grating voice, and shouldn't be doing ads for anything, least of all beds.

I agree too - ghastly voice. If I ever needed to be put off watching Gavin and Stacey, or indeed buying a bed, this awful voice would achieve both.

I turn the sound off every time I hear the awful tinkling music before the even worse corncrake voice comes on. How can they think she would persuade people to buy one of their beds?

She has the most annoying nasal voice. Currently she is voicing The Perfect Pitch on Channel 4. Her childish whine is a killer. The programme is pretty rubbish too.

This voice makes me want to throw bricks at theTV. It's an advert for beds for goodness sake, not chain saws. Get Joanna Lumley, or anyone else really.

Its joanna page...its dreadful, truly the most awful voiceover ever. What were they thinking...hardly relaxing. A voice far more suited for Rentokil or Domestos, certainly not Dreamy..more nightmare

Ditto! I don't wish the 'Artiste' ill but, she doesn't have a voice appropriate for the product (image) being sold! What were the advertising/promotional staff thinking of?

This festive season they add more Dreams advertising in all the channels, at all times, I cannot understand how no more people complained about that awful nasal voice. It's terrible!

Whoever it is, I desperately wish never to hear this hideous, moronic, quacking voice again, but you have to do so multiple times if you want to watch the films sponsored by this company... whose products I would NEVER consider buying thanks to this "advertising" campaign. Is it supposed to be adorably funny or something? It isn't.

The voice is the most obnoxious, nauseating sound imagineable, worse than chalk on blackboard. She is probably a perfectly lovely woman but please replace her. She is not helping you sell beds.

Hate that advert because of the voice. It really grates on me. The woman has a nasally twang, not conducive to to wanting to buy a bed. I avoid this advert and fast forward through recorded programmes.
