Michael was 19 years old when Elvis died. According to Michael himself, he met Elvis in Las Vegas and Sammy Davis Jr. was also present. Michael said they both told him to stay off drugs... Seperately, Jermaine Jackson has gone on record that the Jackson 5 met Elvis briefly in a hotel elevator in Las Vegas. It is also a known fact that Elvis used to take his daughter Lisa Marie to see Jackson 5 concerts.
I don't know for sure but I have read that he lived at home for a very long time, wanting to be close to his mom. He was really shy and insecure about living on his own so he just stayed at the family compound. In J. Randy Taraborrelli's book, Michael Jackson - he Magic, the Madness, the Whole Story, the author writes that he bought a condo in Encino, CA in the early 80's for himeself and his mom, so that they could escape living with Joe Jackson. His mother didn't want to move so Michael didn't either. Eventually Michael lived there for a short time while Hayvenhurst had some work done to it. Michael finally moved out on his own in 1988 when he bought Neverland Ranch. RIP Michael Jackson!
A fan CAN write a book about Michael Jackson, but, it probably depends on what type of book it is. If its a biograhphy on Michael Jackson, then their going to have do some serious research. BUT, if its a simple book about Michael Jackson's music, how its inspiring, and why they like it, then yes they can (but still involves some sort of research.)
