An interesting and unusual fact about Edward Hopper's paintings is that his wife, Josephine was the model for all of the women in his paintings. Josephine recommended Edward Hopper's work to the director of an art show, and when they purchased one of his paintings, it was only the second he had sold in ten years. She helped secure him in the artist world.

Conceptual art is all about the concepts, the idea behind art, it's all about meaning and having the viewer see things in a different manner, instead of portraying just paintings of aristocrats and kings. It's simply the art of the mind, they emphasize the thought of things and the intellect. Most of Conceptual artist rely on installations to portray their work.

THere are a number of paintings that have the topic of colonial domination. I couldn't find a particular one with that name. I found references to this in paintings and photos relating to countries all over the globe. However I did find an artist who's picture the Death of General Warren at the Battle of Bunker Hill by John Trumbull is sometimes referred to as colonial domination. John Trumbull was an active artist during the time of the Revolution, and a signer of the Declaration of Independence, so I suspect one of his paintings will be the one you are looking for.
