Candlejack is a fictional character from the animated television series Freakzoid!

In the show, he abducts anyone who says his name. This has led to many jokes on the internet, especially in the fashion where people start a sentence, say his name, and then cut it off midway. For example:

"I was walking down the street the other day and saw Candeljack, and then he-"
