Roger B Rueda is a teacher, lecturer, poet, fictionist, and author who loves a good laugh but also dedicates himself to teaching people the correct usage of English. His book, A Plain and Practically Lucid English Grammar, is an easy-to-use reference guide.

He is all of thirty four. He has published an English grammar book (CentralBooks) and a poetry book (binaspublishing). Currently, he is writing a Hiligaynon grammar book and compiling Hiligaynon words for his Hiligaynon-English, English Hiligaynon dictionary.

Roger B Rueda is a a freelance writer: his poems, short stories, and essays have appeared in publications that include The Sunday Times, Philippine Panorama, Home Life, Hiligaynon, Philippines Graphic, and Files. (The his stories are strictly fictional, but all reflect the multitude of interesting people he has met over the years. When not teaching, writing fiction, both novels and short stories, has become the most fulfilling of pastimes. Also, he takes pleasure in drinking tea or coffee, playing duckpins, and eating ice cream.)
