Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel, 68, built his empire through contracts with the Saudi Arabian government. Sheikh Saleh owns a majority stake in Dallah Albaraka Group, a conglomerate that runs Islamic banking operations, real estate, construction and manufacturing interests. Sheikh Saleh also retains active memberships in a range of social and educational organisations in several Arab countries as well as the UK, Germany, Switzerland and the USA.
